About Us

Who are we? We are a brotherhood of classically trained chefs and frontof house team from the Scottish Borders with the goal to change the game of food and service.

After years of working in 5-star establishments and working for Albert Roux we decided to take the leap and begin our own journey.

ln November 2020 we opened our first restaurant The Night Safe in Hawick. Due to covid we were hit with lockdown a month later. To keep we restaurant going we started to serve street food as takeaway.This is where the people urged the idea of Salt N Fire.

We now run 2 restaurants and a Salt N Fire in the Scottish Borders with our first ever solely vegan Salt N Fire opening in Inverness in August.

We were inspired to expand into Inverness as we see the highlands as a great destination for visitors and we want to share our unique experience with the local communiy.
